superswamper thornbirds

Do all of the thornbirds come with raised white lettering? I'm looking at a
shop that sells them http://www.trailquest.com/tires/ss_thornbird.shtml and
it "appears" that RWL means raised white lettering and BSW means black side
wall. I'm assuming this though. I called the place and the guy was a bit put
out by my question and said something to the effect that "if that's what the
site says then that's what we sell". Nice.
Thanks!
Allen

Besides not buying them because they suck, can't you just put the white
letters on the inside when mounting the tires? I guess not if they are
directional?

Yes, you can still put the white side in on directional tires, they just
go on the other side.

Kind of like the more expensive tires used to come only in white
side walls, which the Hot Rodder reversed on their chrome rims. But on
off road use will soon peel the black off the white rubber underneath
making it look like heck, to those that look under the car.
