superswamper thornbirds
Do all of the thornbirds come with raised white lettering? I'm looking at a
shop that sells them http://www.trailquest.com/tires/ss_thornbird.shtml and it "appears" that RWL means raised white lettering and BSW means black side wall. I'm assuming this though. I called the place and the guy was a bit put out by my question and said something to the effect that "if that's what the site says then that's what we sell". Nice. Thanks! Allen |

Don't buy Thornbirds. You won't like them, and you will become the butt of too many newbie/poseur jokes. Robert Bills KG6LMV Orange County CA http://www.outdoorwire.com/4x4/jeep/...p-l/billsr.htm http://www.RobertBills.com |

Kind of like the more expensive tires used to come only in white
side walls, which the Hot Rodder reversed on their chrome rims. But on off road use will soon peel the black off the white rubber underneath making it look like heck, to those that look under the car.
