Stock Jeep Steering Wheel
Does anyone know where to buy a new stock steering wheel for a 1988 Jeep
Wrangler with a gray leather wrap. I would prefer to keep it stock then to change over to a grant. The dealers have them but they want far to much money. Please advise. Thanks |

I've been looking for one to replace my chipped and rather oval steering wheel for months now. |

Re: Stock Jeep Steering Wheel
Check out you local junkyards. I got a leather wrap wheel for my 88 YJ off
of an XJ for 15 bucks. Same exact wheel and there are a lot of XJs at the junkyard. Just remember to bring along your wheel puller, it's a lot easier to get the wheel off with the right tool. Re: Stock Jeep Steering Wheel
Thanks but I finally broke down and bought the Grant. It looks fine but it
is smaller in OD and is taking some getting use too. While I was in there I replaced that turn signal swith too. It was causing my lighting problems.
