starting defect

hi all
i have a sahara tj 97 and i encountered a few technical problems and
it is driving me crazy...

when i drive my car in the highway at a speed of 140km.hr and every
thing is fine and all indcations are ok ,,,, when i remove my foot
from the gas pedal and attempt to decelerate for a sharp u turn ,,, the
engine just dies and would not start unless its temperture dropes down
say after an houre........!!! :$ that is the first problem and it
happend 4 times especially in summer time where the temperature is at
45 degrese C.

when i encountered the last problem mention up,,,, i tried to start the
car and it just cranks up but there was no any signe that the engine
will start or any hope for some spark at least to start the engine it
is like some one disconnected the spark plugs from the engine... i
commited 4 starting cycles and at the 5t one the starter just stoped
responding to the swith key,,, a removed the starter and test benched
it and it was perfict all working in good condintion...then i installed
the starter back on the engine and tried somthing new ,,,,, guess
what,,,, i connected the starter to one end of starting jumper and
turnd the key to on position then connected the other end of the
jumping cable to the (+) positive of the battry... the car started
normal but when i turn the car of it will not strt again unless i
shorten the starter directly to the barttry with ignition switch on . i
mean on when you turn the switch the first move not to cranking
psition .., .

would any one help me with that and i will be greatfull

thanks for reading my full life story ;) wishing you all the best .

The first problem sounds like the notorious bad connection on the CPS or
crankshaft position sensor. The sensor is located on the driver's side
bell housing. If you follow the wires, you will come to a plug. This
plug and socket can be cleaned with a spray contact cleaner.

The second problem sounds like the starter relay has arced/burned out.
You can locate that in the power distribution box under the hood and
swap it with another, say the AC relay if the numbers are the same on
them.

Or both could be caused by the body losing it's ground strap. There
should be a mesh cable from the rear of the engine up to the firewall.
If this goes bad or it's connections get corroded, it will give your
symptoms.
