Sport --> Laredo instrument cluster?
I just got my wife a 1991 Cherokee Sport, and while I knew this ahead of
time, the lack of a tach, temp, amp and oil pressure gauges is *very* annoying. I figure I can junkyard the cluster out of a Laredo for > $100. Is it just a simple matter of swapping out the clusters then, or is there a bit/some/a lot more work that goes into it? I'm assuming I have to at least put in the sensor for the tachometer and run the cable. Do I have to replace all the sensors on the engine as well? -moitz- |
Re: Sport --> Laredo instrument cluster?
Yes. you will need all the sensors for guage output rather than light
output (they are different).. Well, this Jeep is rapidly turning into my wife's daily driver/my project car, so one of these days I'll get a site up about my adventures turning it into what I want. -moitz- |
