Semi-OT. The difference between Jeepers and Mustang(ers)

I was tooling around on the 'net checking out mods for the SixStang when I
realized the fundemental difference between Jeepers and people who modify
thier 'Stangs.

A Mustang owner will find the part they need, order it, wait for it to come,
and install it.

A Jeeper? He'll find the part he needs, and make it. Failing that, he'll
find the part he needs, look at it, copy it, and make it in his garage and
install it.

Not to mention the wimpy tires and single drive axle...

Carl

Sooooo....
Now that you have owned both?

Buy it or build it... ???

It's a little harder to build the stuff that you need for a Mustang!

On an up note, hubster is thinking of building that bumper for my Jeep...
heh heh heh...

I really like Mustangs!

I owned one in 1984. I got stuck in a snow storm, walked ten miles, shoveled
12 hours, drove home and fell asleep at the wheel.

That's the last time I owned a rear wheel drive without also owning a Jeep.
As a matter of fact, I've owned at least one Jeep continuously since then.

That is why they put a trunk in them. It is for the sand bags or the cast
iron radiator. There are some people where I live who do fine with rear
wheel drive vehicles all year long. Last winter, we had four meters of snow
too.
