seeing posts as they post
 

It seems that I have to get out of the news group then come back to see
messages that have been posted while I have been on.
Is there a setting that I can change so that a message will appear without
me leaving, then coming back?????

Not that I know of.

When I first tag a group for the session, it delays and downloads the
new message headers.

I then read the headers by last sent and click on what I want to read.

I have to hit Get Msg to update the headers.

Put the refresh button at the top of your news window.

With the news window up, double click the button bar (blank area)
then select the "Refresh" icon and move it to the bar.
Click the icon when you want to check for new messages.

This sounds suspiciously like a Test. Am I too late?

You can press the F5 Key -- if you use Lookout Express -- to force
downloading of new posts.

go to tools
go to accounts
go to properties
check box "add this acct when checking mail"

I just found it............
go to tools
hit accounts
hit properties
check box "add this acct when checking mail"
