Seats for a YJ

Hi All,
Hope someone can help, When I bought my YJ the person who had
it before has taken out the standard seats and fitted racing style
bucket seats, the only problem is they're the narrowest buckets I've
ever tried to squeeze into! I'm looking at replacing them with nice
normal seats, I have quite a few scrap yards around my area but living
in the UK there aren't many wranglers being scrapped, hell, there
aren't many Wranglers full stop! Does anyone know if you can fit any
other makes of car seats in place of the original seats? Oh, when he
fitted the seats he also took the sliding mechanisms out, all thats
left is the lifting thingy-ma-Bob.

Hope someone can help,

Johnny Kebab

Thanks for the links Harry, I bought my lift kit from Quadratec! I was
hoping to do it a little cheaper than buying shipping over.

Mustang seats will fit if you have long legs. They have a high front.

Most GM seats and their slider will bolt right onto the Jeep seat tilt
frame. Think Chevette or Camaro or even full sized GM van seats.

The ones I really want are Pontiac Fiero seats. These have tons of
aftermarket covers for them and come with stereo speakers in the
headrests!
