Most folks I know make them out of 1" stock
between the top of the seat rail and the bottom
of the seat frame.

I used oversized nuts & washers between the seat frame and the floor along
with longer mounting bolts for my '02 TJ.

I used oversized nuts & washers between the seat frame and the floor along
with longer mounting bolts for my '02 TJ.
