Rock chips, from the inside.
 

For chrissake.
I am completely disgusted.
A rock evidently flew up out of the tire and whacked the inside of my fender
and made an outie rock chip.

That just pisses my ass off.
Now I have to go kick the cat.

Just be very thankful your elbow or ear weren't in the way... It Really
hurts! I love that TWANG noise rocks make as they bounce off the roll
bar.... Means they missed me. ;-)

Glass places can usually fix those small stars before they grow. We put
new glass in the Cherokee and the first trip ended up with a silver
dollar sized star. They fixed it and it has held for 5 years.

I read that wrong....

Your 'fender' got the ding, not the windshield eh?

I have a couple of those, but I rubber coated the underneath of my
fenders to help stop the dings. I have 'glass fenders.
