I bought a replacement top for my 1997 Wrangler TJ from Morris 4x4 for about
$450 delivered. I'm a musician, which means my mechanical skills stink and
still, I took off the old and replaced the new in less than 2 hours. I got the
smoked rear and side curtains in Spice, had my WIFE help(!!) and it was a
breeze. I went for the OEM (original equip. mfg) top and not the sailcloth. The
only prob I had was in the attachment to the header/clamp thing attaching to
the windshield. I always wondered how the SOB was attached and it's 13 screws.
The rubber gasket was perfectly drilled out but some orig. screws were rusted
so I went to the hardware store and bought all new screws. It worked like a
dream and looks bad as hell. I highly recommed this top and Morris sold it for
about 30 bucks less than Whitney.

I mounted my Bestop in 2000 and have been using it all the time since then.
Great thing! Very reliable in all seasons, no leaks yet.

Only disadvantage compared to the original softtop: You need two people or
at least one hour to remount everything after a topless drive. Not quite
comfortable in Germany with its sudden thunderstorms in summer. So better
practice getting the roof unfolded and mounted completely before
accidentially getting wet...
