Replacing window regulator 98 Cherokee

Hi,

I have to replace the window regulator from the r/h front window on my
cherokee, is this an easy job, or should I not even attempt it, and
send her to the dealer?

Thanks

It's pretty simple if a little tedious., especially if you are getting
the "new" one from the wrecking yard and get to practice by taking it
out. You will have to drill out 3-4 rivets (replace them with short
bolts and nuts) and the bolt that holds the glass on is a little
tricky to get at. Check back a month or two and you'll find a thread
that had a pretty complete discussion of this.

If you use some duct tape to hold the window up while you work you won't
have worry about the glass sliding down while your fingers are in the way.
