Replacing Tail light on 2004 Wrangler

Long story short, missing treflector piece on tail light - not covered
under warranty - bought new assemby.
Have new assembly and can only get part of the wirng harness free.
Is there a trick to this?

Hi Bob,
You mean, like the harness plug won't go through the hole:
http://www.alvielou2001.com/p2473.jpg Take the plug off by sliding a
small screwdriver inside and release each wire's barb:

Thanks Bill, problem is when i yanked the wiring harness up I still
could not get the connector out. Think I might have done some damage
to the connector. Guess I'll let the dealer fix this.

I believe you have to come at it from under the fender to unplug it.

You can take the inner fender off yourself to get at it or pay dearly
for that labor intensive plug in. No parts needed, just 2 hours labor
eh...
