Recommended Tranny and Differential fluids
 
Any recommendations on good/best tranny and differetial fluids for a '98
Wrangler? Its time to clean 'em out.

When I last changed mine out (@ 50k miles) I put in Mobil 1 full synthetics.
Don't forget friction modifier for any axle with a traction device either. You
could always overpay at the dealership for their products.

When I last changed mine out (@ 50k miles) I put in Mobil 1 full synthetics.
Don't forget friction modifier for any axle with a traction device either. You
could always overpay at the dealership for their products.

Yeah, and half the time they'll use the wrong oils, particularly in the
trans. Be SURE you don't use a GL5 oil in the trans, GL3 (non-sulphur) is
recommended, in a pinch a GL4 like Redling MT90 or MTL works ok.
