Nate, yes there are differences, but you can't get away from the fact
that the CJ8 was a stretched CJ7. All Jeeps capitalize on Jeep heritage,
that's what makes it heritage to being with.

yes, the cj8 is a stretched cj7...i have _no_ problem with that. its not
however, a tj anything.

most all jeeps live up to the heritage of their predecessors, but its
nothing but a marketing ploy to captalize on the heritage by calling a tj a
scrambler. it doesnt make it any better or worse of a jeep, its just a
marketing ploy to get people who buy into marketing to buy it.

Q: "what do you drive?"
A: "jeep scrambler"
Q: "newer one or an older original?"

bah.....just pick another name, theres plenty of them left.
