How did you get the nut off?

Luckily that was the easiest part. I was able to just loosen it and pull the
cotter pin. As for knocking the part out, BEAT the ---- out of it worked. You can get a 3 jaw puller for under 20 bucks and that will also help. I used both. I definately recommend getting an adjustable track bar prior to taking your off of course. I had a really long breaker bar and an even longer and even bigger pipe slid
over the end of it. Even then I had to put my weight into it to get it to move...
