Umm, correct me if I am wrong here, but aren't all these folks in the
business of 'selling' you new tires?

Pretty hard on their bottom line if your tires don't wear out isn't
it.....

If your attention span was longer than 2 seconds, you'd understand that if tire
manufacturers wanted your tires to wear out quickly, they wouldn't recommend
rotating them at all. But they do.

You are the one who said not to cross them because they will separate. Do you
really think they'd recommend crossing them if it posed a risk of serious tire
failure? Did you sleep through the Ford/Firestone debacle?

I can tell you for a fact that I turned around the best of the two
remaining BF Goodrich A/T KO to put two new tires on the same axle, and
had tread separation/blow out within three thousand miles. One exception
to your reversing tires is if the rims are off set like most Real Jeeps
are. So I will never do that again. You may continue to do that to your
Wannabee, I don't care if you kill some one.
