He wants a good snow tire - the LTX does not meet that requirement.
They are a very fine riding tire on the highway, but they don't grip
very well when it's slick. They have much too hard a rubber compund
for low winter temperatures. I threw mine in trash after sliding
around in a little bitty layer of snow.
