I think the statistic for republican voters is that 75% believe that
the world was created in 7 days?

I'm pretty sure if the world got to vote Bush would have been voted
out by a pretty fair margin. I think what some people are forgetting
about why an anti-American sentiment exists because of overly
aggressive foreign policy. The last few years with Bush in power has
made this even worse. I believe that invading Iraq will only fuel
this sentiment amongst extremists - along with US support of
aggressive Israeli policies in the middle east. What I see wrong with
the "war on terror" is that it is only trying to solve the symptom not
the cause. The word "---------" has a lot less meaning nowadays.

It is one thing to have balls, and its another thing to be completely
oblivious to the people of the world. What is worrying is that the
Republican party is very closely aligned with evangelical christians.
The separation of church and state is pretty loose.

The US voting system is a bit of a joke though, being non-compulsory
it is harder to keep track of who voted. The computer voting machines
did not have any paper print out or hard copy. For an election that
will have quite a large effect on the whole world I think the voting
system should be brought up to scratch.

On a side note, *hypothetically* how many of you Americans would bear
arms and form a resistance if a much larger foreign power invaded you
and installed a puppet government?
