I've only had the first two:

Wire brush the mirror and spray paint it with an 2 quid aerosol (doesnt take
long and it comes up really nice).

everything he listed has happened to my 99 except the power steering fluid

And none of it has happened to my '95. The worst thing to go bad has been
the oil sender unit. Oh wait, I got a flat once. ;o)
