Don't know the size, but when I am 'replacing' a hose or pipe like that
I just cut the sucker off and use a deep socket instead of the wrench.
Works much better.

Thanks Mike! That works great on the old hose, but I don't think I
want to do that with the new one! HAHAHA!!

Anyway, I've learned through trial and error that the nut on the fluid
reservoir end is a 16mm. The nut on the other end is an 18mm.
