Is it true that you can no longer buy the military surplus hummers? I
thought I read an artical that said they agreed to stop selling them to the
public so that people would have to buy the civilian version.

they still hold auctions here on ft.hood, TX. they only auction the ones
that the army turns in due to the cost of fixing is higher than to replace
it.
