I can't imagine how else it would work, unless he's talking about
doing away with the fuel return line.

Come to think of it, This MPI kit is also modeled after an 94 Wrangler. How
could they discontinue these parts? If you need replacement parts you only
need request the same from a 94 wrangler, correct?

That means the ninety pound fuel pump will have to be regulated to
forty pounds, going to make a problem for longevity. No new car
manufacturer works it that way.

Sure they do. Jeeps have had no return line on the fuel rail since about '95.
Regulator is in the fuel pump module.

regulator and stick in the tank:

Take a look at a Factory Service Manuual for the ZJ series.
No return line. The regulator is in the fuel pump which is
in the gas tank. You have to release pressure at the fuel
rail to do much of anything.

That's easy Will, just unplug the feed line where it connects to the rail.
The gas will come out after the pump runs for a few seconds.

Must be the later ZJs, mine has a return line, that's how it sets
the rail pressure. Back port is fuel-in, front is the return line
routed through the stock regulator then the Edelbrock regulator.
