It says that their manufacture is not as standardized, so there is no gurantee the player will play them correctly. The one and only time I tried playing CD-R's in my CD player, it had a hard time ejecting them, and I had to get a pair of needlenose pliers to get the CD-R out. -G |

Early CD players will not play CD-Rs that are labeled 'MUSIC' or AUDIO'. These
discs are made to be recorded in a home audio CD Recorder, not in a computer CD-R drive. Recording an Audio CD-R in a computer and then trying to play in an old cd-player will result in an error code. Most often a ERR-22 problem code. |
