Re: auto locks
Does it have the overhead computer? On my '00 Grand Cherokee you can specify
in the computer if you want them locked at about 15 MPH, unlocked when you open the driver's door, etc -- - Pablo 1981 CJ-7 Laredo 360 V8 2000 WJ Laredo QD V8 2003 TJ Rubicon "Nathan W. Assuming you already have electric locks, you can get speed sensitive relays and tap into VSS harness at speedo or ecm then to close side of door solenoid, we use them at work on buses, we pay in the neighborhood of 100.00 for the relay, good to 10a. If more current capacity is needed simply add piggyback high current relay. Newark catalog has them. Gregg ps I got your email, thanks 1999 TJ(2.5L) |

It is a Limited, with every conceivable option. I'd prefer a somewhat less sparton model, but when I was looking it was the only 4 door with windwings, AC, auto, 6.0, Selec-trac and tow package in an acceptable color. Unfortunately, soooo many of the XJs are in dark (hot) colors. Very few light blue or beige. Mostly black, dark green, navy blue, or red. Red was out as it is a cop magnet. So, white was it.
