Check the hood sensor pin. It tends to rust and cause faults. Pull the connector
and see if that solves the problem.

As for turning the alarm off, yes it can be done (fuse #7) but you loose the flash
to pass. You need to run a diagnostic on the alarm system.

- off/accy/off/accy/off/accy
The horn should beep twice and the headlights blink.
Turn the key back to OFF.
horn shoud sound one time each time you bother a sensor (open and close)
the remote lock/unlock will also cause the horn to beep.

To exit, turn key to RUN then OFF.
