Well the qwerty keyboard (what you are currently usin) was originally
designed to slow typists down so the keys opn the old typewriter
wopuld not jam. The dvorak layout is an optimized key layout with all
the most commonly used letters in teh home row. Thus once learned it
is a much faster method. Do a quick search on the web and you will
puill up lots of information.

designed to slow typists down so the keys opn the old typewriter
wopuld not jam. The dvorak layout is an optimized key layout with all
the most commonly used letters in teh home row. Thus once learned it

Look at your keyboard... 1st 5 letters are QWERTY... with a DVORAK the
1st 5 letters are DVORAK...
