Which transfer case do I have on my 2005 TJ Unlimited with 4.0/6-sp?
NV-231 or NV-241? What is the difference between the two?

There should be a round shiny metal plate on the back of the transfer case,
with numbers stamped on it.

The difference is the 231 is part time and the 241 is fulltime. For the
answer to the resulting question about the difference do a google search! Or
maybe Bill has a link.

The difference is the 231 is part time and the 241 is fulltime. For the
