I had tried one of the 2300 series holleys, I can't remember the exact PN,
but it was the 350 cfm two barrel. It worked, to a point. It was fine on slight inclines, but any hill of significance caused a bit of a flooding problem... followed by that ever-famous stalled CJ backwards slide down a hill. Just loads of entertainment! I can walk up sand pit walls and crest then turning 400-500 rpm in 3rd
low. Get too steep and I just dig my 33" muds in. The stock carb can work really well if tuned right....
