You are done trying to patch it up.
I can often buy a rebuilt engine for less than the parts to properly rebuild it myself, and get a good warrantee on it. Motor Works in Sea-Tac is one source. I haven't done business with them in 4 years, they were good then. -- Paul Calman, Hathaway Pines, California |

10 10 can be a factory crank too, he needs to check the codes on the oil
filter boss. That's what I've heard before, and documented with engine codes, it tells us just how bad AMC's condition was, no other manufacturer would have past something that bad. Say, on a regular hot rod engine there is no way we could turn high RPM without turning an insert.
