Price searching on a Jeep CJ.....

Where could I find a site that could give someone an idea as to what a 1973
CJ is worth. Excellent shape with 13,000 mi.....original, 6 cylinder
Thanks

Re: Price searching on a Jeep CJ.....

http://www.nada.com and go to consumer pricing guides, classic cars. As I
am sure you know already, classic car prices are all over the map and this
is only going to give you an approximate value.

What kind of transmission does it have and are you buying or selling?

Re: Price searching on a Jeep CJ.....

never looked at as being a classic..............but never thought to look in
the classic area
Thanks
This might sound kind of stupid.......but I went here to give an estimate on
a furnace replacement. After getting the job, the women in the house said
that her son had moved to NC and they (she & her son) wanted to sale the
Jeep that had belonged to her mother (his grandmother). when granny died she
left it to him and he never drives either and since he is gone ...they want
it sold. I didn't think much about.....then it hit me. I could use an extra
vehicle....and put a plow on it for my building, my house and my wife's
rental property to plow snow.
So the fact remains...........I don't know what tranny it has. I just wanted
to get an idea as to what to offer them. Because they don't know.

It sounds as if it's worth what you are willing to pay for it then. Why
don't I ever find stuff like this?
