That's good, Kate - what about the window handles?

I went to buy a handle for mine yesterday - even J-B Weld had given up
on the old one - and the Stealership here wants $18.20 (plus tax) for
that damned part! Whoa! Back to yankee ingenuity again.

I believe NAPA has various window cranks. I know the 'help' line in
some auto stores also have them. Cheap.

Last time I checked the Help line, none of them would fit - they
didn't have any of those snap-on types and none of the others had a
keeper that fit the slots. Wated a whole afternoon screwing around
with them.

Last time I checked the Help line, none of them would fit - they
didn't have any of those snap-on types and none of the others had a
keeper that fit the slots. Wated a whole afternoon screwing around
with them.
