This is Usenet, not the WWW or some Google group or bulletin board.

Unless the name of the group on Usenet says 'binaries' in it, it is a
text only group. Lots of ISP's will actually cut any HTML or binaries
that are sent to a text group, let alone lots of folks on Usenet don't
use Microcrap's windoze so they can't even see them unless they download
them and open another program.

I use a link to a photo album page in my sig line or I post photos over
on the almost empty group alt.binaries.pictures.autos.4x4 and post a
link pointing there.

Re: pictures

Actually you CAN post pictures in a text newsgroup like this one, we do
it over in the Studebaker newsgroup all the time. But as Mike says a
lot of ISP's will filter the pictures or limit the sizes.

If you use Thunderbird for your newsreader (no matter what OS you are
running) it will show pictures.

Yes, and it's been done.

Llewellen Williams ------ III has already posted pix of his camera, his
Vicodin bottle and his snakeskin Speedo, all very on-topic posts here. (?)
