They tried 4 tests on my Cherokee at the $tealer to finally get the
extortion fee instead when their computer refused to take my pay off
because my vehicle was under recall.

I raised holy hell about it because the main reason I brought it to the
$tealer was to check for things just like that so they gave me back all
the retest money when it passed with the free new O2 sensor.

I still had to pay for one test though, the first one like the OP. Even
if it wasn't valid, he still has to pay for one 'real' test before the
$17.00 retest fee kicks in.
