OMG! That is friggin hilarious. Those guys were STUPID! Not to mention
they were using one of those BAD tow straps (with the metal hooks on
the ends)...tsk tsk tsk

This is a good reason to think twice before helping pull someone out
of a snowbank. Although it was stupid to pull it in the direction they
did (and therefore none of US would have been in this particular
situation in the first place ;-) ), the driver of the car obviously
didn't know anything about where to safely attach the strap...and you
just don't want to be in the middle of something like this when you're
just trying to be a good samaritan. Lawyers could get involved pretty
quick!

Always have the owner hook the tow strap to their vehicle.
