Re: OT - Paypal Spoof

I had someone try something similar one night while I was in a motel. About
2am the phone rang and the person on the other end said he was from the
front desk and that he had lost my paperwork and needed to know how many
nights I was staying. I told him just one more night. He then said that he
needed my card number again so he could get all the paperwork back in order.
I just told him that I would settle up before leaving in the morning. He
paused for a short time and then acted suprised and said "Oh wait, here is
everything, I put a stack of papers on top of your stuff, have a good
night."

I had heard that stuff like that was happening about two months before my
trip, I could see how people might fall for that at 2am after a long day.
