OT: ATF flush for truck?
I need to change the ATF fluid in my truck. I have heard both good and

There is a substantial amount of fluid retained in the torque converter during an ordinary fluid and filter change. However, the factory recommended service interval takes this into account. A power flush is not a substitute for doing things by the book. If you have reason to believe that the transmission is all gunked up inside, then you could do the equivalent of a power flush, by changing the fluid today, and changing it again in a week or so. A one ton anything will have a torque convert drain, drain it and
