in need of a ford c4 tranny CORE - does not need to be good, just a core... NY
area would be perfect.

There have to be thousands of them in wrecking yards. Probably you can
arrange to haul off an unwanted vehicle that doesn't run with one for
free and scrap it out.

Wouldn't you rather have a four speed auto (AOD or 700R4) in this day
and age??
