I had a '76 Sportster MANY years ago... Hated it... Ride awhile, stop,
tighten everything back up... The rear cylinder tended to overheat from what
I understand (mine never ran long enough for that to happen though
<grin>)... That was back when AMF owned Harley and the quality definitely
sucked... I understand that is not the case these days... Back then, you
would see the Sporters made into choppers... Other than that one Harley,
I've always owned rice burners... These days, if I was to buy a Harley, it
would probably be one of the Fat Bob bikes...

I have always promised myself that if I ever hit a lottery,
I would buy the biggest baddest Jag sedan available, then
head for the nearest Classic Indian dealer and pick up an
Indian Bonneville. Might settle for a Chief while looking.
