Hi Sandman,
I watched it live on television, they crashed seven mile west of
me. The California Highway Patrol, had been chasing him from Riverside,
about seventy miles north of me, and through my little town of Vista.
The driver was delusional and had thought he robbed a bank, but hadn't.
About four blocks before the crash, he was stopped, in traffic and the
motorcycle cop walk up to him and tried to get him to surrender, but the
traffic at I-5 entrance began to move allowing him to proceed. I bet
that cop has nightmares about not blowing him away. He and the driver of
the full sized Ford pickup were badly hurt, but the Jeep driver walked
away. :-)
