If they are available to fit it, you might try replacing those shocks
with old fashioned load levelers, or air adjustable shocks. Either
should keep the wheels down on the trail.

by each other as they articulate, use that energy up keeping the tires on
the ground for an even traction in the roughest of terrain. I have used air
shocks on my '72 Ford 4X4 for a cheap lift:
