Re: New Jeep Cherokee Owner, Advice Please.

I would add that synthetic fluids, while not required, will give better
performance and longer life. The extra cost is worth it.. to me.

If you are unaware of the age of the hoses I would recommend that you change
them all at the same time that you flush and refill the radiator coolant.

Be sure you get the proper coolant. You can use the new spec G-05 coolant
that is only available in the states in Valvoline's Zerex brand or the old
spec "American Green' coolant. Problem is....... very few companies in the
states still make it. Valvoline still makes their Zerex 'Original Green
version.

In the states NOTHING made my Prestone or Peal meets either the new or old
specs as they are all based on DexCool Technology.

Re: New Jeep Cherokee Owner, Advice Please.

Be sure to pick up a repair manual for your Jeep. The factory manuals are
far and away the best.

Re: New Jeep Cherokee Owner, Advice Please.

Is the speed actually changing or perhaps are the HVAC doors moving and the
distribution (and sound) changing.

I could be a vacuum leak.
