That and they tested those sprays. All it took was a bit more work
to uncover the number.

In my old pickup all it took was letting the tailgate down.
(no front tags here)

Or in the winter, snow packed up against the bumper. :)

That and they tested those sprays. All it took was a bit more work
to uncover the number.

In my old pickup all it took was letting the tailgate down.
(no front tags here)

Another problem they had in Denver, when they first got these things, is
that mailing a citation to the perpetrator hardly constitutes legal service
of process. While most people simply checked off the box admitting guilt,
and sent in the fine, two citizens decided to contest the way that they had
received their citations. In addition, they did not admit, that they had
been driving their cars on the day in question. It turns out, that in the
United States, you don't have to make admissions like this. I don't know
whether the city's lawyers figured out how to get through this loophole, or
not.
