need Jeep side decals (for re-aplication after a paint job)
I'm looking for the stock style decals that are on the raised lettering
on the fenders. Mine of course got removed for painting. I'd also love to find the same type of decal only in the font used on old willys (on the tailgate for instance). Might be a nice retro touch in place of the same old plain Jeep lettering. Probably wouldn't match up well enough with the raised letters but it's worth a shot. -- Simon "I may be wrong, but I'm not uncertain." -- Robert A. Heinlein |

Real Jeeps don't need no sticking decals. They are hand painted:

Re: need Jeep side decals (for re-aplication after a paint job)
Most sign shops - if they want to be interested - can make
just about anything you want. If you want to exactly match something that you no longer have, it's much more difficult cuz they aren't necessarily at all enthused with your particular affiliation and/or hobby. I often have people name off some particular model car and expect me to know exactly what the lettering was on the original, how it was distorted, exact color matches etc. when if they let me, I can usually come up with something they actually like more! See your friendly local Mom & Pop sign shop that isn't a franchise and you'll find what you need.
