MPI 4.2L Oil Sensor Question
I'm just finishing my MPI install on my project. Can anyone tell me what
to do with the oil pressure sensor? I have a small brass manifold sticking out of the block. I know one hole is for the oil gauge and the other is for a sensor. Does the MPI ECM not need to know the oil pressure? |

Re: MPI 4.2L Oil Sensor Question
No your oil gauge come off that hole too. It's the funny looking round metal
thing on the brass elbow fitting. I just removed the brass elbow and ran my oil pressure line right off the block. PS I recommend you toss the cheap factory electrical gauge and replace it with a mechanical unit. They are much more accurate in my opinion.
