Well I just followed the instructions and it was a pretty straightforward
procedure, just follow the wiring diagram for the wires Power key on, brake switch,speed sensor all instructions were pretty clear and everything is colorcoded and they showed clear illustrations of locations of wires needed to tap into, no magnets on driveline it uses speed sensor of lume off tranny which is in the right side engine campartment and everything to thing throttle just hooked up to the throttle linkage really easy. Your manual says you may shift from 2wd ro 4wd up tp 55mph. However you can only be in 4wd in snowy icy, muddy, or gravel conditions. A rain covered highway is not slippery enough to use the 4wd system in your Jeep. Using it on dry or just wet pavvement will harm the system. |
