Metal flakes in my tranny fluid
 

I just drained my T-176 when I pulled it out of my CJ rebuild project the
other day. Had some small metal flakes in the fluid. Is it just the
syncros or something that causes the flakes or is it damaged? It worked
fine, never made any kind of noise. I haven't opened it up yet.

I am swapping in an auto tranny as I rebuild my CJ and wouldn't mind getting
a few $$ out of this tranny, but I don't wanna sell it to someone if it
needs a rebuild or something. Not worth the hassle. Should I just open it
up and get some pics?
