Good day,
I was actually thinking of a scat V4 originally!
They are just hard to find and apparently not very reliable. They seem
to have a harmonic instability.
Honda engines are cool, but they are not an original `swap`!
I have not seen any Mini with a Yamaha V8 done yet... Mind you, I happen
to have a rebuilt Mitsubushi 1.5 ltr with a ported and pollished head
kicking about as well!

Cool!
But I think a Hemi weighs more than the whole Mini! ;)
The other project that I have on paper, is taking a Subaru Justy 4x4 and
transplant the drive train into a classic 1960`s Mini woody wagon and
turning it into a `Mini Grand Cherokee` 4X4 !
I have to much time on my hands!
