M-416 Jeep trailer & Line-X

I really like the Line-X in my Jeep and am getting ready to have the same
put in my M-416. Has anyone had this done? Any problems with the drain
plugs afterwards?

The trailer is also going into the shop for a spring over so I can put 35"
wheels on it. I want to be able to use the spare from the Jeep on it. It
currently sits awfully low compared to the Jeep.

Good looking rig. Where did you pick up that tire carrier on the back
there. Can you see behind you or are you subject to using the side mirrors
only?

Like to see pics of your trailer too. How does it pull behind your rig?

Where did you pick the trailer up at?

Re: M-416 Jeep trailer & Line-X

I'd love to get an M416 trailer. I'm thinking of buying the reproduction
416 from 4x4trailers with their locking top.

I have an off-topic question for you Jim. Your web site says you have a
Rain Gear cab cover for your CJ. How do you like it? Is it good quality?
I need one next summer and I'm trying to decide between that one, the
BestTop and the Mopar.

Thanks!

Hello Bill,

The bumpers and rear rack are from Bulletproof Manufacturing. You can see
their stuff at:

http://www.bulletproofmfg.com/title.htm

With the 35" spare tire directly behind me I don't see too much back there,
just a whole lot of rubber. On the harsher trails I fold the side mirrors
up on the hood and then I am completely blind to everything but what is in
front of me. Come to think of it, the rear mirror fell off on a run a
couple of months ago (Swamp Lake, for those who know the area out here). I
still have to glue it back on.

My rig is in the shop, as usual it seems (more upgrades). I haven't towed
the trailer with it yet. I picked it up in town and thought it was in
really good shape. I look forward to having the ability to carry more
camping gear next summer.

Jim
