looking for security trunk / box for YJ
 

Need to lock up valuables too big for center console ... a box that
mounts where back seat used to be. Is there a place to purchase such an
item?

Sounds like you need a workman's toolbox.

Bunnings (the incumbent hardware chain here in Aus) have an aluminium one
approximately 1.2m long, by 50cm wide, by 60 deep, with a locking lid, for
not very much at all. Most of the tradies here tend to bolt them to the tray
of their utes.

Could be worth a look?

not very much at all. Most of the tradies here tend to bolt them to the tray
