Well, there you go, we sure see things differently.

I do not believe the OP 'erred' at all. I believe he intentionally set
out to deceive us to try and sleaze money from us or to get us to open
his 'auction'. (does he get good ratings for 'hits'?)

'Most' posters who start off with the same lie are total sleaze bags out
to rip off the public by anonymously posting their crap.

I am in no way anonymous and use my real name here as well I have met a
whole mess of folks from this group.

I didn't hear you crying foul when I called the poster of the thread
'1986 CJ 4SALE' a liar a couple weeks ago!

I even added 'RIP OFF WARNING' to it.

Turns out it was a really big lie too! The jackass was a commercial
poster with friends faking bids so he could get his $8K for a Jeep
likely worth $800.00.

Or like another I saw on another group advertising an 'all original'
mustang 'for sale'. Maybe the body was, and that's a 'big' maybe, but
the engine, rims, tires, etc. weren't anywhere near original nor was the
engine even offered in that year.

Or like the liar that advertised a GPS 'for sale'. Only used once!
LOL. He forgot to say he dropped the thing in the lake the only time he
used it.

So maybe the OP of this thread isn't a liar normally. But like you say
being anonymous gives folks leave to do things they normally wouldn't.

Maybe I am also just too grumpy some days. Tell you what, on the next
one I will try to just ask if the jerk is a liar instead of just calling
a spade a spade.
